Family Group Conferencing Program |

Family Group Conferencing is a restorative justice program for first-time offenders. The offender(s), victim(s), their families and other supportive individuals and community member affected by the crime come together to share their stories of what happened and how the offense has affected each of them. This meeting is coordinated by a trained facilitator utilizing principles based on the Balanced and Restorative Justice Model. |

Funding for the program is provided by the Kansas Juvenile Justice authority and Sedgwick County and is paid for with taxes of public funds. This program is in partnership with The Office of the District Attorney, 18th Judicial District of Kansas. |
